A strong signal with a clear ID from Conakry, Guinea, heard in Oxford UK on 08/08/16 at 18:04 hrs UTC using my trusty Panasonic RF-B65 and 50 metre longwire. No SYNC of course, but once again, the vintage Panasonic performs very well for this personal first reception. I have another recording using the Sony ICF-2001D, from which a comparison can be made. Great to hear this station by the way, which I believe had been off-air for some time. Thanks for watching.
Hi there, nice copy of Guinea in a crowded part of the 31 metre broadcast band, utilising the narrow filter and SYNC which is constantly locking/unlocking. Nevertheless, impressive stuff on the whip antenna only. Recorded in Oxford UK on 24/07/17 at 19:55 hrs UTC. Thanks for watching.
Hi there, I think this is my clearest reception of Radio Guinée to-date. Once again, the Eton Satellit delivers a performance beyond my expectations and another example that should answer the questions raised by doubters of this brilliant little radio. Note the very clear ID just after the start of the video. Recorded at the woods in Oxford UK on 22/01/17 at 18:46 hrs UTC using a 50 metre longwire. Thanks for watching.
Hi there, Radio Guinée on a forty quid radio?! Amazed me for sure. Ok, so I've recorded this station previously on the very capable Panasonic RF-B65 and the even more capable Sony ICF-2001D, both of which might have been 10 times as expensive in real terms, back in the day. Just another example of Tecsun 'bang for buck' and another reason why anyone out there who's interested in proper DXing on a modest budget should buy one of these little gems. Just sayin'.....! Recorded in Oxford UK on 12/11/16 at 18:44 hrs UTC using a 30 metre longwire antenna. Thanks for watching.

Hi there, I was pleased to copy Radio Guinée with a very strong signal in Rio Capim, although there is slight adjacent channel QRM. This recording was taken only a few minutes before the Tarantula Hawk Wasp showed up...at this point my only worry was getting bitten by leaf cutter ants! Recorded on 27/09/17 at 20:13 hrs UTC using an Eton Satellit receiver. Thanks for watching.
Hi there, so here's something I've not copied previously - English programming on Radio Guinée and a live phone-in at that! A very nice signal with the Sony and Bonito antenna - and all set up in about 1 minute! Recorded in Oxford UK on 29/08/17 at 18:49 hrs UTC using a Sony ICF-2001D and Bonito Boni Whip antenna. Thanks for watching.
